Oddly Enough Short..er..Long..

Guys. Im telling you now. IT IS A SASUNARU.
no matter what it looks like towards then end kay.


Team 7 knew something was wrong the minute Naruto arrived that day.
First of all , there was no "HI SAKURA-CHAN!!" or " YOUR LATE!!" when Kakashi appeared.
But the most noticeable thing was, there was no orange that day. No, That day Naruto walked up in a red longsleaved underarmor with a black shirt that showed his figure, unlike that bulky orange jacket, a figure, that would make anyone, and everyone swoon over. He had on baggy black jeans with chains hanging from the back pocket. Instead of his usual navy nin-sandals, he had loosely tied black and red vans with the signature heart circle, used by the famous Bam Margera.
His usual unruly hair was oddly perfectly rustled today, but with no Headband on forehead. Instead it was tied tightly around his right arm. and his usual happy warm complexion, was pale and uninviting.
Something had to be wrong, they all knew that.

Walking past the gawking pink haired shinobi and the ever so slightly staring Uchiha, he leaned against edge of the small wooden bridge.

"So..." Kakashi said awkwardly "UH Naruto?" Sakura interrupted.
"Yeah." Naruto muttered looking down into the water at his reflection.
"Umm...What's with the wardrobe change today?" she asked timidly, almost like Hinata.
"What's it to you Haruno?" Naruto replied almost smugly.
Now they were certain something was up today, Naruto never called Sakura Haruno, hell, he never called her anything without adding -chan to it.
"Dobe, why do you look like a walking talking skeleton?" Sasuke asked rudely making Naruto turn his head and look at him sharply.
"Hey, Sasuke. Why do you act like a fucking bastard and have a chicken hairstyle huh?" Naruto asked back.
Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi all gawked at the back of Naruto.
"What?" Sasuke asked stupidly.
"Oh I'm sorry, i didnt know you were deaf as well as stupid." Naruto said adding a snort of laughter.
Sasuke looked appalled, Sakura was amazed, Kakashi was intrigued.
Sasuke, who had a look of death in his eyes, walked up to Naruto and yanked him by the shoulder, turning him around.
"What the hell is with you today Naruto?" he asked roughly.
Naruto stared daggers at the huffed Uchiha before closing his eyes.
They all stared at him for a moment, but suddenly Naruto, poofed before turning into pure water, thus covering Sasuke with it.
"Water...Clone? But..."Sakura said looking at that spot.
"Hmm... Sasuke. I want you to find Naruto." Kakashi ordered.
Sasuke walked to said blonde's house and knocked.
"Naruto." he called.
No answer.
Pushing the unlocked door open, he stepped in only to jump back for the minute he did he heard "SQUEAKKKK."  Looking down he saw a small rubber toy in the shape of a mouse.
"A...Squeaky Toy?" he asked aloud.
"Yeah, what about it." Naruto asked standing in the arch of the kitchen, making Sasuke jump.
"Naruto! What was up with water clone?!" Sasuke asked hastily.
"Nothing, I cant act like a normal teenager for a day with out the world ending?" he asked sarcastically picking things up off the ground and putting them in their right place.
Sasuke watched him for a while, slowly realizing many things about Naruto.
After an hour or so, Naruto finished and said" Well, why are you here?"
Sasuke looked at Naruto, who was dressed as his clone was, and said" Kakashi made me come find you."
Sasuke began walking around Naruto living room, but screamed shrilly like a girl when something furry came running past his legs.
"Chill out Sasuke. Its just Ying and Yang." Naruto said petting one of the black and white foxes.
"Naruto. Seriously why are you acting like this?" Sasuke asked.
"Like what Sasuke?" Naruto asked looking at him with cerulean eyes.
"Like... all moody and dark.." Sasuke said frowning.
"..Sasuke I just decided I'm gona be normal okay. Can you please leave me be?" Naruto said as a tear fell down his face.
"Whatever." was all that the raven said before walking out the door.

Naruto picked up one of the fluff balls and a trashcan, then walked to his bedroom.
Looking in his closet he sighed. "Ready for a life makeover Ying?" he asked the small fox.
He's response was a yip. He knew what it meant, but he just took a step towards the closet and began taking things out rapidly.
Before he realized it an hour had pasted, and he had 2 unreasonably large piles. One was his "old life" the other was his "new life"
Pretty much, anything orange and rameny was in his "old life" while the other pile was all black, red, skulls, and vegetarian.
He picked up the old pile and stuffed it in his trash can angrily. "Good Bye.." he said quietly to the trashcan as he put it outside.
A few people watched him in amazement.
"Is that...Naruto?" Someone asked.
"Are those foxes?" another would.
Naruto ignored them and walked inside.
"Well...that's the material, now for the house." he said to the two foxes as he picked up a can of paint.


The Next Day...
Naruto showed up the next day, only to make Team 7 stare, jaws dropped.
He had on a black and white striped long sleaved shirt with more black jeans and those same shoes. His forehead protector was tied loosely around his wrist.  but what made them stare is his once blonde hair, had turned into a rich red with black streaks through it.
"Na"Sakura muttered
"Ru"Kakashi whispered
"To."Sasuke finished.
Naruto looked at them plainly and sat on the railing.
"What's our mission Kakashi-sensei?" he asked with no enthusiasm.
"Uh....." was all the masked sensei said.
Naruto raised and eyebrow and said" Sparring?"
Kakashi nodded his head slightly and said" You and Sasuke spar. Sakura, practice Chakra control."
They walked to the training fields, and Naruto who usually ran ahead, stayed back with the group.
When they arrived Naruto and Sasuke got in sparring position. "Go." was all that was said before Naruto took off like a rocket. He had Sasuke down in seconds.
"What the hell.." Sakura said gawking at him.
"Naruto. Where did that come from?" Kakashi asked.
"Me. I always hid my strength, now i decided not to so...hope you guys are ready for it.." he finished trailing off.
"Naruto. I want you to spar with me." Kakashi said curious.
They got in position and began. Within minutes Naruto had Kakashi in the same position Kakashi had Sasuke in on their first mission, flat on his stomach sitting on him.
Sasuke, Sakura, and the other shinobi stared at him.
"N-Naruto..." Sakura said amazed.
Getting up off of Kakashi Naruto shrugged.
"...Sakura. Go get the Hokage she needs to see this." Kakashi said
Moments later, Tsuande arrived and said "Well lets see it kid. Let's see your amazing strength all of a sudden."
"Yes, mam Hokage-sama, but who shall i fight?" Naruto asked simply.
Tsuandes mouth dropped open , as all the others did.
"Hokage-Sama?" Tsunade asked.
Naruto nodded and stated" Shall i fight you?"
Everyone was just staring at eachother then back at Naruto.
"Uh.. Yeah. Come at me with all you got." Tsunade said a bit unerved.
They got in position , but Naruto paused to say" Hokage-Sama, i must warn you. Keep your guard up if you would like me to go at you all out."
Tsunade gave a snort of laughter and said" Don't you worry about me kid, just come at me with all your might."
"go." Kakashi said watching them with the same intensity as everyone else.
Naruto disappeared in thin air the minute he did.
"What th-OOF!" Tsunade said getting blown backwards about 30 feet or so into the wall.
"Oh.."Sakura whispered bug eyed
"My.." Ten-Ten uttered out.
"God.." Ino finished.

Tsunade got up and dusted herself off. "Oi, Naruto. Come back from wherever you are."
Naruto suddenly appeared in front of the group making them all step back for the site of him.
Naruto had a one red tail and fox ears.
"Kyuubi, Did you look like this when you hit me or did you have more tails." Tsuande asked.
"Hokage-Sama, Kyuubi is not surfaced, nor was she when I attacked you. and yes 'mam I only had one tail activated." Naruto explained.
"Naruto... How many tails can you activate on a whim?"
" 8." was all he said before Tsunade spazed.
"WHAT?!?!" she practically screamed.
"8. Ive been able to activate 8 since... the day i started in the academy."
All the shinobi who had just seen the actions stared at Naruto, they just stared.
"Naruto. I am sorry, I know you'd never attack our village but for the safety of everyone, considering what you just did, Your going to have to be arrested." Tsunade said calling two ANBU's.
"I am sorry too Hokage-Sama." was all Naruto said before disappearing again.
"Damnit. Kakashi, i want every ninja chunin level and above after him. Naruto is considered a threat we have to catch him." Tsuande ordered looking around.


A week later...
A week, they had been searching for Naruto for an entire week, nothing.
They staked out everywhere he ever went, nothing, he never showed up.
Till Sasuke got an unusual visitor at 2 am.
A dark figure got through the window and said" Sasuke."
Said raven woke up and said" Ngh... Naruto!?"
Naruto covered his mouth quickly and said" Sasuke listen. You cannot tell anyone that im here but.....Sasuke i can hardly move now. Ive used up most of Kyuubi's energy and she has to rest for a while. but i cant stop anywhere I have to hide....Can i hide here?" he asked finally.
Sasuke just stared at Naruto for a minute before nodding his head.
"Thank you Sasuke-kun I love you. I really do." was the last thing Naruto said before collapsing onto Sasuke.
"He loves me?"Sasuke asked no one holding Naruto tightly.

Naruto woke up that morning around 6 am,  in the arms of Sasuke.
"Mhmmm...Sasuke?..Thank you Sasuke." Naruto said looking up, but he paused for Sasuke was smiling.
"Sasuke? What's so good that your smiling?"  
"I-I-I...I love you too Naruto." Sasuke stuttered.
"Sasuke I love you so much, but what's that noise downstairs? " Naruto asked confused, but his answer was a swarm of ANBU who grabbed him and holding him tight till Tsunade walked in.
"I have to say Naruto. Your a hell of a criminal to find, Sasuke was alot of help though." she said shaking her head.
Naruto stopped his struggling and froze. He turned to Sasuke and said" Y-You...You turned me in. You said you loved me...and you betrayed me...."
"No!! I didnt!! Tsuande tell him!!" Sasuke said trying to explain
"LIAR!" Naruto yelled before his entire figure began to glow.
Fox ears appeared only moments before tails began to form.
"...He adapted the 9th tail.." Tsuande whispered seeing the tails appear.
Naruto looked up and smiled a wicked smile. His once cerulean eyes turned blood red, his black nails [YESH HE PAINTED HIS NAILS] turned into black claws.
In the blink of an eye Naruto disappeared.
"This is bad....all 9 tails..and that rage..." Tsuande said, not noticing that Sasuke was staring daggers at her.


Later that Night....
Naruto stood atop of the 4th Hokage's head, smiling insanely.
He began to whisper something , though to a few certain people, it was like screaming in their heads.
Suddenly Sasuke, Tsuande, Many ANBU's ,the rest of Team 7 and other various people important to Naruto appeared on the 4th's head.
"Naruto?" Sasuke asked.
"Hi Sasuke. I hope your happy about what you did, you too Tsunade." he said still smiling a wicked smile.
The ANBU team took a step towards Naruto, but they were blown back a flick of one tail.
"Tsunade I gotta hand it to you. You're worst than Ourchimaru." Naruto said looking at Kyuubi's seal that was slowly marking itself all over Naruto's body.
"What do you mean im worst than Ourchimaru?" Tsuande asked watching the seal move as well.
"Well, You and Sasuke both are. Ourchimaru tried so hard to make a monster of himself, but you, well you two, turned another person into one. So as i bid you goodbye, i also thank you." Naruto said turning his back to them.
"Naruto! I didnt betray you!! I never knew they were co-" Sasuke hush." Naruto said turning back with a daggerouse stare.
"You cant lie to me. I know what you did. You know, it probably wouldn't have been as bad, if you hadn't said you loved me too, but what's done is done. Therefore you cannot change it. See you soon, oh and Sasuke." Naruto paused.
"Y-Yeah..." he answered.
"I'll be sure to tell your brother you said hello."was the last thing he said before disappearing.
"Sasuke. Your brother is in the Akatsuki correct?" Tsuande asked voice cracking.
"Yeah-Oh shit." Sasuke said realizing what that meant.
"Hokage-sama?" one of the ANBU asked after a few minutes of silence.
Tsuande waited a moment before saying" Sasuke. I don't know why he went like this. but all i can say now is....The Shinobi world, has just gotten its worst opponent ever... and as sorry as i am to say this. I don't think anyone can beat Naruto."
A small breeze blew over them as they all let that sink in.



The next day Tsuande ordered warnings to go out to every village.
When Gaara got the letter he dropped it after reading the last line.
"At all cost you must capture him. Dead or Alive."
"Naruto..." he whispered walking over to the window "What happened to the person who changed me? What happened to you?"

As word got out around the Village of the Hidden Leaf, many rumors began to surface.
"I heard he killed ANBU with one strike!!" one of the academy kids said one day in class.
Iruka, who had gone very sour ever since the incident , snapped "DETENTION."

The environment around Kohana changed quite quickly ever since the blonde shinobi had disappeared. Tsunade doubled ANBU and Jounin's shifts of watching the gates.
So far Naruto hadn't attacked anywhere, he hadn't shown up anywhere.
Almost an entire year had passed since Naruto left Kohana.
Tsuande was standing by the window of Hokage Tower, when a voice came from behind her.
"Hello Tsunade it's nice to see you." was all the familiar voice said.
When Tsuande turned around, she froze. Naruto had on the Akatsuki cloak and his blonde hair had grown back through the black dye, but what made her shocked the most was, his fox features had gone permanent. He had his ears, all 9 tails, claws, fangs , everything yet his chakra flow was normal.
"N-Naruto..." she stuttered.
"Yes?" he answered smiling.
"Your with Akatsuki now?" she asked calmly.
"Yes."
"They actually let you in and didnt kill you?"
"On the contrary, I almost killed the leader." he said with triumph.
"YOU ALMOST KILLED ARASHI?!!" she screamed.
"or Yondaime, but you knew eh? Yes, but i did not know he was my father moments before my final attack. I stopped just in time, so he's being healed at the moment." Naruto said playing with the necklace Tsunade had given him years ago.
"How..." she said amazed.
"I admit it was hard, but it's the first real fight I've had in....well since village of the hidden mist's assassin Zabuza." he said like he was talking about having tea.
Tsunade let this soak in before looking back out the window.
"You know Sasuke really does love you." she said quietly.
"Oh he does does he." he said with sarcasm dripping from his voice.
"He does Naruto, more than you could think."
"Well i really could care less if Sasuke loves me, Because I love someone else." he said smiling at the hand that touched his shoulder.
"Who-" she froze when she saw Itachi wrapping his arms around Naruto.
At that very moment, the door opened and guess who walked in.
"Tsunade I think Naruto might be-" he froze and dropped the papers he was holding when he saw them.
"Naruto...." he whispered.
"Hello Little Brother. You seem oddly calm for someone who's in a room with they're worst enemy." Itachi said smirking.
"Your not my worst enemy, your my worst night mare Itachi." Sasuke growled.
"Thank you, but i wasn't talking about me." Itachi smiled when Naruto's eyes flashed red.
"Naruto?" he asked.
Naruto glared at Sasuke and simply said" Tsunade. We only came to ask you one thing."
"What?"
"Who was my mom? Arashi will not show me a picture or tell me her name. I simply would like to know her name."
Tsuande paused for a moment before saying" Yuri Kazama."
"Lily" Sasuke muttered only to receive a glare and a mutter of " Smart Ass" from Naruto before he whispered" Yuri Kazama.... Thank you."
"Ready to go Naru?" Itachi asked.
"SASUKE GET THE ANBU TEAM NOW!" Tsuande yelled lunging for Naruto.
She managed to hold him down for about 3 seconds before Itachi picked her up and chunked her across the room, but by that time the ANBU's had swarmed in and had over 12 people holding a vastly struggling Naruto.
Itachi happily let them grab him and hold him as well, as he was smiling.
Tsuande got up and dusted herself off saying" I didnt think we'd catch you-"You didnt." Itachi interrupted.
"Unless that is a clone, which it would have been destroyed when my men attacked him, I did." Tsuande said smugly.
"Oh, but look." Itachi said gesturing at Naruto with a nod of his head.
Naruto's eyes had gone solid red now and he had began to glow.
"No..."Sasuke whispered.
Itachi smirked as all of the ANBU holding Naruto were flicked back by his tails.
Naruto walked over to Itachi, making the ANBU holding him run like hell. Itachi walked over to Naruto and wrapped his arms around his waist making Sasuke's eyes go wide.
"N-Naruto..."
"Goodbye, Teme." was all Naruto said before him and Itachi disappeared.
Tsuande was tending to the ANBU's wounds, she paused to watch Sasuke look out the window and whisper "Goodbye, Naruto."


Naruto and Itachi arrived back at the Akatsuki hideout moments later.
Naruto walked over to the room sheltering Arashi and went in quietly.
"Naruto, Where have you been all day. Deidara said you and Itachi left early today." he asked with a scraggly voice.
"Yuri Kazama." Naruto said sitting in a chair beside his bed.
"What?" he asked obviously shocked.
"Her name was Yuri Kazama eh?" Naruto said leaning back in his chair.
"How did you find that out?"
"Simple , went to Tsuande." Naruto sighed making Arashi shoot up in bed.
"YOU WENT BACK TO KOHANA!" he screamed making everyone in the hideout hear.
Itachi , who was watching TV on the couch, got a look from Deidara and Tobi.
"What he needed to find something out, and i am not letting my boyfriend go into that village alone." Itachi said with a shrug then going back to the TV.
"CALM DOWN DAD!" Naruto yelled.
"Okay, but Naruto. You know how dangerous it is to go back now."Arashi warned.
"They know."
"Know what?" Arashi asked.
"They know how your the leader of the Akatsuki." Naruto said quietly.
"WHAT?!" he screamed making everyone hear again.
"Calm down Dad! Well Tsuande knows. I don't know who else does."
"Okay but-" Don't ask me dad , but i have to go talk to someone." Naruto interrupted getting up.
"'kay, oh and Naruto."
"Yeah?" he paused in the doorway.
"Don't go bragging you beat your ol' man. Hurts my pride." Arashi said stifling a laugh.
"Shut up Dad." Naruto laughed walking out.

He walked into the living room and sat down in Itachi's lap.
"What's the matter Naru?" Itachi asked.
"Its nothing.." he lied.
"Yeah and im Sasori in a cheerleading outfit-" but Itachi was cut off by Sasori actually walking by in a cheerleading outfit with Deidara leading him by a leash hooked to the collar on his neck.
Naruto and him tried suppressing a laugh but they burst out and didn't stop for a while.
Finally after calming down , Itachi said" So what's the matter?"
"Nothing i told you." Naruto lied.
"And i told you Yeah and im Sasori in the cheerleading outfit. Now tell me whats the matter." Itachi said ticking Naruto.
"AHHA-TACHII-HAHA-ST-ST-STOP!" Naruto laughed spazing in his arms.
Itachi stopped and said" Tell me."
"Fine. "cheater." he caoughed under his breath.
"What?"
"Nohting" Naruto said quickly giving Itachi his famouse smile.
"Its Sasuke isnt it." Itachi asked.
Naruto's eyes flashed red and he glared at Itachi hearing his name.
"Hey calm down." Itachi said seeing the eyes.
"Sorry its just, hearing his name makes me, even Kyuu, get so mad." Naruto sighed.
"It's okay Naru." Itachi said kissing him on the neck.
Naruto blushed when he felt Itachi's cold hand go up his shirt.
"Eager arn't we?" Naruto teased.
Itachi smiled and said" Sorry, now whats bothering you about my brother?"
Naruto sighed and said"Tsuande's comment. That Sasuke really loves me...its just stuck in my head.."
Itachi sighed and said" Naruto, You love him dont you?"
"I...I dont know...."

Meanwhile back in Kohana,
Sasuke had almost broken down fully. He hardly ate, slept, anything.
Iruka, had become the meanest teacher in the acadmey. He just got stricter and stricter as the days went on.
Tsuande, hardy did any of her Hokage work. She spent all her time trying to find the Akatsuki.
It seemed the Village of the Hidden Leaf was going to end up as dust in the wind without the blonde kitsune.
After a few months, while Sasuke was with Tsuande in her office, they got a surprise visit from that very blonde.
"Baa-chan, Sasuke." was all he said as he apperaed.
Sasuke ran over to him and hugged him tightly while saying" Naruto, Are you back. Please be, Naruto i really do love you and i didnt turn you in!!"
Naruto smiled and hugged him back before saying" Teme, its okay I know."
Sasuke leaned back and looked at Naruto face to face.
"...Why are you here then?" Sasuke asked confused.
"Because.. I realized I did like Itachi, but.. I love you Sasu." Naruto said burning his face into Sasuke shoulder.
Tears began falling down Sasuke's face as Naruto said that.
"R-Reall-ly, but what about Itachi?" Sasuke asked.
"He understands. I think he's with Kisame now." Naruto asured making Sasuke let out a laugh.
Sasuke looked Naruto in the eye and kissed him.
At first it was a kiss of sweetness, but it soon turned into a kiss of passion.
After a few minutes, they were interuped by a loud "AHEM" from Tsunade.
They broke apart blushing as Tsuande said" I really do hate to break up this lovefest, but Naruto. Your a missing-nin wanted all across the world, every ANBU in the Village is after you, andddd your an S-class criminal."
Naruto nodded and said" Oh yeah.. Um... Tsuande?"
Smirking Tsuande said" Ahh, Gaki, go on back to Sasuke's house. I'll get you all cleared. Just, make sure when you come and see me tomarrow morning. YOU DON'T SMELL LIKE SEX!!" she yelled after them as they ran out the door.
Laughing to herself she looked at the picture of Naruto when he was still an imature brat.

The Next Day-
Naruto showed up , but with Sasuke helping him walk.
"Oh god." she muttered shkaing her head.
"His fault." Naruto acussed pointing a finger at Sasuke, who was smirking.
"Well, Naruto your completly cleared, they filed your reason as a reasonable answer towards what you did." Tsuande said handing him a sheet of paper.
"Old peole say waht?" Naruto asked stupidly.
"Oi...Your free." Tsuande groaned
Smiling Naruto said" Im off to see everyone."

Walkin- OR should I say limping- around the town, Naruto smiled when he saw Ino, Shikamaru, Sakura, Lee, Neji, Ten-Ten , Temari, and Gaara at the cafe.
Gaara, who turned aorund and saw him , yelled" NARUTO!?" making all the others turn as well.
Sasuke, finally picked up Naruto, and carried him over to the cafe.
"Hey guys." he said happily.
Sakura was about to lundge for Naruto but Sasuke quickly said" Naruto's cleared."
"What..Happen?" Shika asked.
" Lets just say... I came to my sences." Naruto said looking at Sasuke.
"I meant the limping." Shika explained.
"Ohh.. Ask him." Naruto said poking Sasuke, who was smirking again.
"OH NASTY NARUTO!!" Gaara yelled smelling the sent.
"What?" Everyone asked.
"Naruto. Your insane." Gaara muttered.
"Maybeeee. But i love him." he hummed back to the red head.
Sakura looked at them weirdly, but like a switch had clicked on Sakura went wide eyed.
"You...AND.....YOU??...Sasuke....Narutoo....oh." she studdered before fainting.
"Oops." Naruto giggled as Sasuke kissed his neck.
"Oh...."the others said before relizing why Naruto was limping.
"...Oh god." Shika muttered.
Temari and Ten-Ten just giggled.
Gaara slapped his forehead.
Neji , Lee, and Ino just stood there.
"Well, As good as it sounds catching up with all of you guys. I think SasUKE , has some plans." Naruto said looking up at the smirking Uchiha.
"OKAY THEN JUST GO!!" Gaara yelled, "YOUR SMELL IS.....GOD IM GONA PUKE!!"
Sasuke picked up Naruto bridle style and said" Byeeee Gaaraaaa."
Gaara gagged and said" Just go."
As they watched Sasuke take Naruto towards the Uchiha Mansion, Gaara groaned and said" Damn. They've been at it since about 6 last night."
Everyone, well everyone still concious, eyes bugged out hearing that, since it was about 1 aclock in the afternoon.
".. I think i liked Naruto better as a crimanal..." Gaara groaned.
"I agree.." Neji shuddered.

BACK WITH SASUKE AND NARUTOOO.
They were both laying on the bed panting , the air was thick with the smell of sex.
Sasuke looked over at Naruto and said" Hey Naruto. I think i like you like this better than any otherway."
Naruto smirked and said" Oh really."
"Oddly Enough. I do." Sasuke smirked.
